The National Bullying Helpline was initially founded to assist those who struggle with bullying at work. There is much focus today on Workplace Investigations, Redundancies, Dismissals, Bullying & Harassment claims, Discrimination, Grievance and Disciplinary Investigations and the need for Dispute Resolution and Mediation. A ‘Kids’ page is dedicated to raising awareness within schools, nationally and provides practical, timely and easy to follow tips and advice for children, parents and schools.
If you believe you are being bullied at work, bullied at school or in the community, visit The National Bullying Helpline website and download a FREEStep By Step Guide and other supporting documentation. There is a Complete Guide to Dispute Resolution found on the site also, which focuses on The Employment Act 2002, Dispute Resolution 2004 and is designed to help everyone understand their statutory rights. This comprehensive, complete, guide is regularly updated and refers to the latest BERR Michael Gibbons recommendations and ever-changing Employment Law - urging employers and employees to mediate - an altogether much less confrontational approach to dispute resolution. Put simply this Guide is a “Do It Yourself kit” to what both employees or employers are required to do under the law. It is extremely easy to follow, and contains sample Grievance and Appeals letters as well as procedures for Management.
Ascertain the name of an Employment Law Solicitor or Family Law Solicitor in your area. Find out about your rights and obligations. The National Bullying Helpline will assist you with sample Policies, sample Grievance and Disciplinary procedures, sample letters (complaint, appeal and response letters), Employment Legislation, Redundancy laws, dismissal laws and much more. At The National Bullying Helpline we have established a comprehensive dispute resolution series of training which we refer to as T.I.M., Training, Investigations and Mediation, in memory of the late Tim Field (24/04/52 to 15/01/06).
